Sunburst Sayings Meets Weather Together Bokeh Effect

Hello Peaches! I wanted to share a technique with you that absolutely love! Bokeh is a beautiful visual quality that gives an "out-of-focus" in some areas look. Somebcamera lenses have the capability to capture this stunning effect. I've been wanting to apply this look to the background of my cards and the result was these two fun cards. I love that they are a mix of both artistic and whimsical appeal. I hope you like them!

For both cards I used my Stampin Write Markers to create a faux stitched look. I'm planning on getting a basic sewing machine so that I can get this look, without so many flaws, but you could easily capture it by using a punch or die as a stencil.

I also love the look that vellum can add to a project. It's so simple to do; you just need to make sure you use Stazon ink or wet emboss. Otherwise your image/sentiment will smear because it is a non porous surface.

I also added a ton of Wink of Stella glimmer ink. That is one thing you will almost always see in my projects-some kind of glimmer or bling. My poor husband constantly has glitter of him. Poor guy goes to work looking like he was just glitter bombed! As always, all the product used to make these cards is listed below. Please let me know in the comments what you think! 😊
