Today, I will be showcasing the So Hoppy Stamp Set, along with the brand new coordinating Hop Around Framelits Dies (150073). Here's a look at the So Hoppy Set if you haven't seen it yet.

So Hoppy Together Cling Stamp Set

How stinking cute are these sweet little frogs?! And the dies that coordinate make this set even more amazing! Not only do they cut out all of the images in this set(including the tiny little bugs), making it so easy for all levels of crafters, but there are additional dies like a water lily blossom and a lily pad in this set. You can see one of them showcased in the treat box below.

I wanted to make the my pillow box match the color scheme I was going for so I took my Granny Apple Green Ink Pad and used my Sponge Brayer to color my Kraft Pillow Box green. I also made a lily pad out of Granny Apple Green Cardstock. I crumpled it up a bit to add a bit of texture and layered two water lily flowers together for more dimension.

I also wanted to have my frog as if he was popping off my box and I thought the image of the one on the unicycle would be perfect. Even if your only using part of the stamped image you can still use the dies to cut out most of the image.

Here's how you do it:
  1. Stamp your image.
  2. Color your image (I used the Granny Apple Green Blends Combo Pack).
  3. Line up the die and die cut the image out.
  4. Cut away any unwanted parts of your image.

I like to do this because it cuts (pun unintended lol) down on any extra fussy cutting. Though I really don't mind it every now and again.

You can also mask off the parts you don't want stamped before you stamp it, die cut the entire image and then cut away the unwanted part. Either way achieves the same goal. Here's one last close-up of the details in this fun little pillow box:

Fancy Friday Blog Hop - Favorite Occasions Product

Hey everyone and welcome to the Fancy Friday Blog Hop! If you’re new the the Fancy Friday Blog Hops, we are a group of past and current Artisans that get together each month on the last Friday of each month to bring you crafty inspiration with monthly themes and challenges. I’m so honored and excited to be a part of this talented group! Now onto this month’s focus!

Occasions Catalog

This month we are choosing our favorite products from the Occasions Catalog. I chose the adorable Butterfly Gala Bundle. This bundle is absolutely amazing, with the sweetest sentiments and fun patterned butterfly images that coordinate perfectly with the Butterfly Duet Punch. Now I will note that the punch is temporarily unavailable. However, until it is back in stock, I have found that these images are quite easy to fussy cut. I also snuck in one other favorite from the new catalog - the Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies! It's definitely a must-have.

Butterfly Gala Photopolymer Bundle

For my celebratory butterfly card, I began by stamping my butterfly outline images in Smokey Slate Ink. Then I inked up the images meant to fill in the butterflies with Soft Sea Foam Ink and used my Sponge Dauber to ink the centers with Balmy Blue Ink. I punched an adional pair of butterflies from Vellum and inked the larger one in Balmy Blue Ink to be layered on my panel with my other butterflies.

These elements were all layered onto some Whisper White Cardstock. I added my Stitched Rectangle to center my elements all together and add more texture.

I stamped my sentiment and finished off my card with a few sequins from the Iridescent Sequin Assortment

I hope You have enjoyed my card for today and don't forget to keep hopping for more inspiration. Up next on the hop is my incredibly talented friend Charlet Mallett
Thanks so much for stopping by and I'll see you next post!

Well Said Dear Doily - Stampin' Up Artisan Blog Hop

Well, hello peaches! Welcome to the Well Said Dear Doily Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team Blog Hop! Each month our very talented and creative team of designers will be bringing you inspiration, so get comfortable and have a ton of fun hopping along with us. You may have just arrived from the wonderfully talented Kaylee Van Es' Blog. I just LOVE what she has created!

Today, I will be showcasing the Well Said Bundle but this hop showcases the Dear Doily Bundle as well, so continue to hop along to see both sets gorgeously represented. What I love about this set is that it offers so much!  There are 51 stamps and 24 dies! Additionally, the dies are comprised of word die as well as beautiful flora and fauna images.

Well Said Cling Bundle    Dear Doily Cling Bundle

I wanted a subtle background with repeated sentiments so that the person who receives this card will know just how special they are. I used one of the stamps from the Well Said Set and stamped it in Smokey Slate Ink. I used second generation and third generation stamping which just means that I stamped off first and then onto my background repeatedly. You can see the soft effect in the photo below.

I used Pacific Point In and, Bermuda Bay Ink to add some soft color to my floral element. It's supper easy to do and creates a lovely soft ombre look.

Here's how you do it:

  1. Die cut your floral image from Whisper White Cardstock.
  2. Use your Sponge Dauber in Pacific Point Ink and first dab a scratch paper to prevent harsh lines/tones.
  3. Then just daub the color softly on about a third of the way up the floral image.
  4. Continue with Bermuda Bay in the middle section, daubing the color lighter and lighter as you reach the top of the image until the color looks as if it disappears.
Add a little bling to the image to accent the blue tones with a few sequins from the Iridescent Sequin Assortment. To finish off this card and add my sentiment, I used my Silver Foil Sheet to die cut word "happy" and stamped "Mother's Day" in Versamark Ink and then embossed it in Silver Embossing Powder.

These products were so fun and inspiring and I know I'll definitely be using them again. I hope you have enjoyed all of today's cards and designs (full list of supplies below). Keep hopping along and check out my other fellow teammates’ pages.
