This week's challenge is a product challenge and I absolutely love it!
My card for this week's challenge was made using a combination of the November 2019 Paper Pumpkin Kit, the Stitched Stars Dies and the All Around Wreath Dies. Here's my submission:
I just love the Wrapped in Plaid DSP! I have used so much of it for my Christmas CardsI used my snips to rough up the edges a bit for a vintage-y look. I also used some Gold Foil Sheets to die cut a star embellishment as my main centerpiece to highlight my sentiment.
Thanks so much for stopping by and we would love it if you would join in on the fun! Come check out the TGIFChallenges Blog for more information and more challenges! Participants will have until the following Thursday at 10am PST to post your projects to the TGIF Blog Page. Don't forget to add the hashtag #tgifc244 when you share so we can see what you come up with!

Tags Tags Tags and Tiny Keepsake - Stampin' Up Artisan Blog Hop

Well, hello peaches! Welcome to the Floral Essence Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team Blog Hop! Each month our very talented and creative team of designers will be bringing you inspiration, so get comfortable and have a ton of fun hopping along with us. You may have just arrived from the wonderfully talented Kaylee Van Es' Blog. Just over the moon about what she has created!
Today, we will be showcasing products using both the Tags Tags Tags Bundle and the Tiny Keepsakes Bundle. These bundles offer so many options for tags and gifting ideas that I wanted to incorporate them both into my projects for today. I love how beautifully they coordinate together as well as individually.

For my projects today, I wanted to make little gift packages that would be perfect for my daughter's class for Valentine's Day., so I made a few different designs.

One of my favorites is the adorable little heart puppy tag. We used to make all kinds of animals out of hearts in school and this totally brought back those memories. Here's how you make him:
  1. First, die cut a 2 stitched hearts from Real Red Cardstock using the Stitched Be Mine Dies.
  2. Next, use the large die from that set that cuts out a bunch of tiny hearts and use the small hearts for his ears, tail, and patch over his eye.
  3. Lastly, use your Black Stampin' Write Marker to add his face details.
For each of the tags, I just used the heart dies to layer behind the tags. I used some Whisper White Baker's Twine and some of that Real Red Curly Ribbon to tie the tags onto my boxes. Here's a closeup of the end result:
I just love how versatile these sets are, giving me so many options beyond the fall/winter holidays.
I absolutely loved these products and had so much fun Creating these festive projects with them. I hope you have enjoyed all of today's cards and designs (full list of supplies below). Keep hopping along and check out my other fellow teammates’ pages. They have some pretty amazing projects to share. I’ve listed them, along with all products used below or you can just click the link below to hop to the fabulously creative Maike Beimler

Stampin' Up! Corporate Blog Post - Paper Quilling On Scrapbook Pages

Hello, everyone! My name is Lauren Alarid. I’m a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator in California and 2019 Artisan Design Team member, and I am so happy to be sharing my creativity on the company blog. Today I wanted to share with you a fun technique that has been around for a while but is new to me – paper quilling.
Adding paper quilling to scrapbook pages can add so much interest! The dimension creates so much texture and you can add as many curls and layers as you like. Additionally, the quilling allows you to create the look of a background and foreground with little effort. I just love the unique effect it gives!

This paper technique can be as simple or as complicated and detailed you want it to be. You can just add a few paper strip accents or you can add layers upon layers and extra bits of papers for a more intricate look. My page was on the more detailed side and ended up being quite a process, but it was so worth it.
I began by using some of our new Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper and my Aqua Painter to add subtle color to the paper, making sure to paint the edges as well.  I repeat this process on the other side of the paper. It doesn’t need to be a perfect match because the differences will be too subtle to see on the finished page. Also, the paper may curl, but that’s okay because we’re curling it anyway.

After the paper has dried, I cut it into ¼” strips. Once you have cut the paper into strips, you will need to go back and add color to the freshly cut edges for a cleaner, cohesive look. Next, I used my “Take Your Pick” tool to wrap my watercolored strips to make them curl. You can use different parts of the tool for a more loose or tighter curl.

The final step is to arrange and adhere your strips to your page. To me, this was the most complicated part. You can use hot glue for a quicker adherence, but I like the cleaner look and how forgiving wet glue is, so I prefer the Multipurpose Liquid Glue. It allows me to maneuver my strips before committing to a position and doesn’t leave the spidery string that hot glue does. It takes patience and a few clear stamp blocks holding your strips in place, but the results are well worth the effort. I also used a few ocean themed stamp sets (Magical Mermaid and Sea ofTextures) for more interest and to tie in the theme of my page. Below is a close-up of how I placed my curled strips.

I wanted to include a few final pictures (below) so that you can see all the dimension and detail that I was able to achieve with this technique. Though it took some considerable time and effort, I love the effect and the memory I was able to capture.

I hope that you have enjoyed this fun technique and will consider giving it a try yourself. It’s just another great way to add so much interest and to spice up your pages!
Happy Crafting!
