HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU CLING STAMP SET (ENGLISH)
LILY PAD DIES
For this hop, we get to choose anything from the Sale-A-Bration Catalog. My two projects today feature the Happy Birthday To You Stamp Set and the Lily Pad Dies. Both of these items are "must haves" if you ask me. So many amazing possibilities!
For this card, I wanted to create a soft pastel ombre background. I embossed my blossom images in gold. Though this image can certainly be colored in watercolor for a beautiful effect too. Ii used the coordinating dies to cut out my image and then stamped it again in my background in Smokey Slate Ink. I layered some of the coordinating Parisian Blossoms Designer Series Paper and added some Champagne Rhinestones to finish off my card.
    Here's a close-up of the mini 3x3 note card:

Well, that's my card for today's hop! Thanks so much for hopping along! Your next stop is my lovely and talented crafty friend Heidi Baks! Check out her gorgeous blog and projects!

I just LOVE what she has created
Coordination Product Release (pre-orders are limited to one per demonstrator):
For the first hop I was lucky enough to get to work with the STUNNING Nature's Thoughts Dies (153586). You can click here to see more details about these projects. Here were my projects from that hop, using the Nature's Thoughts Dies:
For my projects for today, I got to play with the Happy Birthday to You Stamp Set and the coordinating Birthday Dies (153590).
I have made a gift tag and matching card. When I design my cards and projects I like to have a few generic options on hand so that I can easily grab one for last minute occasions when necessary. So my idea was to create a card that could that could be used for either birthdays or weddings, so I chose the sentiment "celebrate". I love the gorgeous flowers in the stamp set and I love that the coordinating dies includes a die designed to cut the flowers out separately-genius!
I stamped my cake twice (once for my main cake image and then once more so that I could cut the flowers separately) in Versamark Ink and then embossed them in gold for a delicate, elegant look. Then, I used the leafy dies to die cut a bunch of leaves from Whisper White, Balmy Blue, and Coastal Cabana Cardstock. My plan was to use these leaves to create dimensional flowers for my cake.
As mentioned previously, one of the great things about all of these coordinating products is that the dies eliminate the need for fussy cutting, and therefore, freeing up more time to create projects. With this die set, I was able to easily die cut multiple leaves for my flowers.
To create my dimensional flowers, I first put down a Mini Glue Dot. Then I cut the leaves from the stems and began layering them together. I staggered the layers so that each leaf layer would sit in between the spaces of the previous layer. You will likely need to add more glue dots between layers as you go.Once you have the desired amount of layering, you can finish the flowers off with a Pearl center or rhinestone if you wish. The matching card was created in much the same manner. Here's a look at the card version of my project:
These coordinating products are so versatile and fun, and have everything you need to let you celebrate your creativity! I hope you have enjoyed all of today's cards and designs (full list of supplies below). Keep hopping along and check out my other fellow teammates’ pages. FOREVER BLOSSOMS BUNDLE (ENGLISH)
For this hop, we are featuring the Forever Blossoms Bundle. This bundle, from the new Mini Catalog, was at the top of my list. It has the most gorgeous blossom images that remind me of Japanese Cherry Blossom trees in full bloom, a most stunning sight to see!
For this card, I used my Blends to color my blossom image. Though this image can certainly be colored in watercolor for a beautiful effect too. Ii used the coordinating dies to cut out my image and then stamped it again in my background in Smokey Slate Ink. Fancy Friday - Shaking It Up

Hey everyone and welcome to the Fancy Friday Blog Hop! If you’re new the the Fancy Friday Blog Hops, we are a group of past and current Artisans that get together each month on the last Friday of each month to bring you crafty inspiration with monthly themes and challenges. Now onto this month’s focus!
This month the challenge was to "shake things up", so we could make shaker cards, things with bits that shake in it, generally anything that can shake. Well, I thought that the Tropical Oasis Suite was a great place to start shaking things up as I am very ready for some warmer weather. This inspired me to create something pretty unique and fun.
    TROPICAL OASIS SUITE BUNDLE (ENGLISH)
The card I created today is what I like to call a "waterfall shaker". The reason I call it that is because of its design, some of the shaker bits look as if they are perpetually falling through the window of the card. It's a fairly simple process, but takes a bit of time and patience.
I used nylon thread and suspended 3 lines between the layers of my card. On each line, I used Mini Glue Dots to secure From My Heart Faceted Gems and fussy cut plumeria flowers (cut from the Tropical Oasis Designer Series Paper) to the thread on both sides so that no matter how it twisted, you would see gems and flowers. Then I put more shaker bits in my shaker window and finished putting my card together.
Both the sentiment and the die cuts come from the coordinating Timeless Tropical Bundle. Here's a close-up of the "waterfall" effect:
I hope you have enjoyed today's card and don't forget to keep hopping for more inspiration. Up next on the hop is the incredibly talented Mercedes Weber. You will be blown away by here designs!

    #TGIFc248 - Catalog Covers Inspiration

Hey peaches and thanks for joining me for another fun TGIF challenge this week! If you're new to the TGIF Challenges, each Friday, we offer a new themed challenge for you to play along with. Be sure to check out the main blog for more details, inspiration, and the guidelines. This week's challenge is all about the catalog covers. Specifically we are focusing on the new Mini and Sale-A-Bration Catalogs, and there is tons of inspiration to be had with these covers!
Both catalog covers have gorgeous samples, but I was really drawn to the card that is to the right of the purple one. I love the layout and I though it would be a great way to create a card with a lot of color and texture.
My card for this week's challenge was made using a combination of the Tropical Chic Stamp Set and the brand new In The Tropics Dies. Here's my submission:
My inspiration for this colorful pineapple is from something I found on Pinterest and I love all of the rich color!
To create this rainbow color-licious pineapple, I first die cut a pineapple from the die set from Watercolor Paper. Then, use your Aqua Painter to add your colors in layers, allowing the the color to dry between layers for a more vibrant look. Typically, I like to die cut my images after I've watercolored an area because I find it easier to handle a larger piece of paper, but in this case, I wanted certain areas to be particular colors, co I needed to see my image. For my colors, I used: Melon Mambo, Grapefruit Grove, Pineapple Punch, Granny Apple Green, Pacific Point, and Bermuda Bay Inks. NOTE: When mixing colors, be careful not to mix pinks/reds with greens, blues with oranges, and yellows with purples. They are complimentary colors and will create a brown tone when mixed.

To achieve the background look from my inspiration card, I die cut flowers, using the die set, and adhered them to my main panel. I curled up the edges for added dimension.
Thanks so much for stopping by and we would love it if you would join in on the fun! Come check out the TGIFChallenges Blog for more information and more challenges! Participants will have until the following Thursday at 10am PST to post your projects to the TGIF Blog Page. Don't forget to add the hashtag #tgifc248 when you share so we can see what you come up with!
