Share Sunshine Blog Hop

Well, hello peaches! Welcome to the Share Sunshine Blog Hop! A few of us crafty ladies and gents wanted to get together and spread a little sunshine during these times of uncertainty and distance. Sometimes it just helps to know that we are all in this together and simple acts of kindness and spreading a little sunshine can make all the difference. I love J. K. Rowling's quote from the infamous Harry Potter books and I feel it rings so true: "Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light." So let's all spread a little sunshine each other's lives! You may have just arrived from the wonderfully talented Jan Clothier's Blog. She has made just the sweetest card for this hop!
When I think of sunshine I think of how it's so warming after a long storm, and this period of sheltering at home has felt like a long storm that we've had to persevere through. But I always look for the rainbow that shines so bright after the storm passes. That glimmer of hope is what reminds me that we can weather this storm. For that reason I have incorporated the rainbow into my card here:
This card uses the Under My Umbrella Bundle along with some watercolor. You can use whatever colors make you happy to recreate this look. The punch in this bundle does all the hard work. I love it!
Here's a close up of the effect:
I hop e I was able to bring a little hope and positivity into your day. Remember, we are in this together and will make it through together. Keep hopping along and check out my other fellow teammates’ pages. They have some pretty amazing projects to share. I’ve listed them, along with all products used below or you can just click the link below to hop to the fabulously creative Leah Fedynak

Stampin' Up Artisan Blog Hop - All About the Host

Well, hello peaches! Welcome to the All About the Host Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team Blog Hop! Each month our very talented and creative team of designers will be bringing you inspiration, so get comfortable and have a ton of fun hopping along with us. Each team member is showcasing a different host set so make sure you hop all the way through. You may have just arrived from the wonderfully talented Jan Clothier's Blog. She has made some lovely projects!
Today, we will be showcasing products using host sets from both the Annual Catalog and the Mini Catalog. I had the pleasure of working with the Make A Splash Stamp Set. This set is completely adorbs and if you know me, you know this set is totally my jam!  Here's a look at the set:
MAKE A SPLASH HOST PHOTOPOLYMER STAMP SET
For my first project today, I wanted to create a realistic fishbowl look. I took quite a few sequins from the Woven Threads Sequin Sequin Assortment and adhered them to the bottom of my fishbowl. The Take Your Pick Tool comes in real handy for this step. Adding all of the plants and other details made it easy to hide the adhesive behind the vellum.
Here's a close up of the effect:
My next card uses Pool Party Cardstock. I used my Light Pool Party Blends to create the wave effect in the background. Then I used Pool Party Ink to add the bubbles. For all of my goldfish, I wanted to make them have a realistic shiny fish look so I stamped them in Grapefruit Grove Ink and immediately poured Clear Embossing Powder over it and heat set it. This gave it a shiny glisteny look.
Here's a close-up of the effect:
Here's a closer look at the details of my second card:
My final card showcases that little crab from the set. I used Rococo Rose Ink to stamp the crab repeatedly in the background and then pieced together a few of the sentiments to make my own.
These host sets are so much fun and a great way to create stunning projects. I hope you have enjoyed all of today's cards and designs. Keep hopping along and check out my other fellow teammates’ pages. They have some pretty amazing projects to share. PEACEFUL MOMENTS BUNDLE (ENGLISH)
For this hop, we are featuring the Peaceful Moments Bundle. This bundle, from the new Mini Catalog, was for sure at the top of my list. It has the most gorgeous floral die cuts and the font of the sentiments are just beautiful too!
For this card, I wanted to create a subtle shimmery background, using some of the splatter images in the coordinating Painted Poppies Set. To achieve this, I simply used my Wink of Stella Pen to color the stamp. Then I stamped it onto my cardstock-super simple! Just repeat and you'll have a unique and beautiful background. Here's a look at the efect of the shimmer stamping (below):
    Here's a close-up of the finished product:
Well, that's my card for today's hop! Thanks so much for hopping along! Your next stop is my lovely and talented crafty friend Jay Soriano! Check out his amazing blog and projects!

    #TGIFc262 - Color Challenge

Hey peaches and thanks for joining me for another fun TGIF challenge this week! If you're new to the TGIF Challenges, each Friday, we offer a new themed challenge for you to play along with. Be sure to check out the main blog for more details, inspiration, and the guidelines. This week's challenge is a color challenge and what a challenge it was!
My card for this week's challenge was made using the Parisian Beauty Bundle. Here's my submission:
I have to be honest. This color combo was a challenge for me. I think they are beautiful together, but for some reason I just couldn't seem to get the right proportions of each color for my project. What I ended up settling on what a watercolor sunset effect to put behind my Eiffel Tower. To achieve this look, I used Watercolor Paper and my Aqua Painter to create an ombre background in Daffodil Delight Ink and Calypso Coral Ink.
To finish off my card with a few details, I used the Stitched Labels Dies for the little hearts and some sequins from the Iridescent Sequin Assortment. Here's a close-up of my project:
Thanks so much for stopping by and we would love it if you would join in on the fun! Come check out the TGIFChallenges Blog for more information and more challenges! Participants will have until the following Thursday at 10am PST to post your projects to the TGIF Blog Page. Don't forget to add the hashtag #tgifc262 when you share so we can see what you come up with!
