Share What You Love Mother’s Day Cards and CASEing Myself

Hey everyone! I have a few fun tips to share with you today. We all know Mother’s Day is sneaking up fast and I have about two dozen cards to create. Now with so many cards to make, mass production is what makes the most sense. However, I am not a huge fan of making the same thing over and over again, though I know sometimes it’s nessecary. I find it helps to have a specific layout and to just change one element like the color or orientation to give itvjust a little something different, but not so different that you’re reinventing the wheel.

This is where CASEing myself comes in. I just took one of the card designs from my “Share What You Love” post and recreated it, using either different colors, different elements, or both. I love how this made me have to get creative, because with the flower elements from the original card, I was going to have to make my own in order to get the colors to work. Here’s the original card for comparison:

So here’s my recreations. Don’t you just love the returning color Coastal Cabana and new in-color Pineapple Punch?!:

One tip is for the banner sentiment part, use the Everyday Label Punch and just snip off the two ends for a slimmer banner piece.

I hope you liked today’s projects and for all the moms out there, have a lovely moth Day! See you next post!
