Cake Soiree Birthday Card And Peek At Some Brand New Stampin' Up! Colors

Hello Peaches! I'm so excited to share some brand new products with you today! As many of you may have already heard, Stampin' Up! has had a complete color revamp! What that means is that they are bringing in some brand new colors with colors that are currently on trend. They are also replacing some the older, more dated colors. The new colors are so fresh and I completely happy with the changes!



For today's card, I'm showcasing two of the brand new colors that have joined the Stampin' Up! color family, Highland Heather and Gorgeous Grape. I love how beautifully these two purples go together. Note: these products will be available the 1st of June to customers, but if you want to get your hands on these brand new products early, you can join my team and add them to your started kit (more info below).

I began with my card base made from Highland Heather. Then I used the cake stamp from the Cake Soiree Bundle to stamp my cake. Then I colored it, using the new coordinating Stamp n Write Markers in Highland Heather and Gorgeous Grape. I also used the coordinating dies from the bundle to cut out a few floral images from Vellum Cardstock and Silver Foil Sheets. I also stamped a few in the two purple tones as well. They look soooooo gorgeous stamped together!


I then created a watercolored background using both colors of purple inks on Watercolor Paper. Next, I embossed a piece of vellum with the Petal Pair Textured Impressions Embossing Folders to go behind my main watercolored background. To finish off my card, I added a few sequins from the Iridescent Sequin Assortment. I just love this color combo together! I hope you like my finished card and I'll see you next post!
