To celebrate the new catalog going live, I've created a few cards using a few new products. I wanted to highlight a particular product that I'm so happy has made it into the catalog-the Embossing Paste!!! This embossing paste is smooth and creamy and offers so many possibilities. It has a matte finish which allows you to add any color re-inker to customize your projects. Truly the sky is the limit with this paste.
Along with the paste, 4 new stencils have been released. However, for my first experience with this paste, I've had an idea in mind to try for a few months now. I used the center hexagon die from the Window Box Thinlits to create my own stencil. This is such a creative idea for making your own stencils. Just look through your dies and you might find a fun new way to use them.
I then, mixed some paste with re-inker on my Silicone Craft Sheet, first with Lemon Lime Twist Ink Refill and Bermuda Bay Ink Refill. I placed my stencil over my projects and added the paste with Palette knife. An important note is that you clean your tools right away as the paste can be very difficult to clean once dry.
The paste does dry very quickly, so I just put it aside while I prepared the rest of my projects. For the sentiment and embellishments I used the gorgeous new Colorful Seasons bundle. I watercolored some paper and die cut the leaves. I think these cards are elegant and I'll use one of them as a wedding card.
Thanks so much for stopping by and until next time, Peaches, have a beautiful day!

This is really cool. I like the idea of embossing paste. With this you can create whatever design you want plus it has the 3D effect.
