All My Love - Stampin' Up Artisan Blog Hop

All My Love

Well, hello peaches! Welcome to the All My Love Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team Blog Hop! Each month our very talented and creative team of designers will be bringing you inspiration, so get comfortable and have a ton of fun hopping along with us. You may have just arrived from the wonderfully talented Kaylee Van Es' Blog. I just LOVE what she has created!

Today, I will be showcasing the Forever Lovely Bundle and Meant To Be Bundle as well as products from the All My Love Suite. What I love about this mega suite is that it offers so much!  It has some lovely florals, with two step stamping which adds a TON of dimension as well as sweet scripty hearts and fonts. There's something for everyone in this suite.

Forever Lovely Photopolymer Bundle      Meant To Be Cling Bundle

I created a matching card set for today's projects. For my first card, I began by using the Hummingbird Framelits Dies to create a mask so that I could add an embossed background. I mixed some Flirty Flamingo Re-inker and Powder Pink Re-inker with some Shimmery Embossing Paste and created an ombre textured background. You will also notice that I tucked a few printed flowers into my layers. These are from the beautiful All My Love Designer Series Paper (DSP)

Here's a close-up of the texture that the Embossing Paste adds below:

For my next card I wanted to add all kinds of fun layers and textures. To achieve this, I mixed elements of stamping, die cuts, twine, and watercolored elements.

I used Flirty Flamingo Ink and Powder Pink Ink to create some no line watercolor flowers. It's a very simple technique, but so fun and creates a gorgeous ethereal effect.

Here's how you do it:

  1. Stamp your image in the Flirty Flamingo Ink onto Watercolor Paper.
  2. Squeeze some ink into the lid of your ink pad (I used Powder Pink).
  3. Use your Aqua Painter to spread the Powder Pink Ink over each area of your image.
The darker Flamingo Ink will spread and mix just a little bit with the Powder ink and create shading and look like it was painted instead of stamped. It's just stunning!

To finish off this card, I added some more Silver Metallic Thread, a few Artisan Pearls and Heart Epoxy Droplets.

For my final card, I went a little crazy, lol. I added layers of DSP, die cuts, stamped images, along with a few watercolored flowers and some Coastal Cabana Ribbon to create very dimensional and playful card design. With these products there really are no limits. The heart dies themselves offer so many options. You can cut hearts with or without stitching hearts of all sizes, framed hearts; the list just goes on! I especially adore the stitched design that they make.

Here's a close-up of all of the layers and details:
