Well, hello peaches! Welcome to another Color Your Season Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team Blog Hop! I'm so excited to bring you a few more projects featuring products from the brand new Blended Seasons Bundle (#149893) and Color Your Season line of products! For a limited time (August 1st-31st) you can order this exclusive bundle, so grab yours now so you can because it's absolutely amazing!

As I mentioned in the first hop, one of the amazing benefits of this bundle is that the Blended Seasons bundle is perfect for crafting in any season, in any part of the world. As you hop along, you will see this set showcased and used for each and every season. Additionally, the coordinating Stitched Seasons Framelits Dies (#149013) are designed to compliment the stamp set beautifully and add just the right touch to your projects. If that wasn't enough, a new set of Watercolor Pencils (#149014) are available as well, including some of Stampin' Up!'s brand new colors! These new colors are STUNNING and the perfect addition to your collection.

Now this time around I have created fall-themed projects. Fall is such a stunningly beautiful time of year, here in California. The weather is beginning to cool and the leaves are all beginning to turn the most gorgeous shades of red, yellow, and orange, and that is where I have taken my inspiration from.

I wanted to make a lovely fall gift box, complete with matching cards. I used one of the Acetate Card Boxes to hold the cards in, but I wanted to dress it up a bit. For the bottom layer I used a wood patterned paper from the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper (DSP) for the belly band for my box. Then I used the largest leaf stamp in Gray Granite Ink from the set to stamp all over a banner cut piece of Gray Granite Cardstock. On top of that, I layered the largest stitched label from the die set in Whisper White Cardstock. Then it was time to create the leaves. I used the leaf die to cut a few leaves from Gold Glimmer Paper. Then I stamped the leaf image onto Watercolor Paper and used the Cherry Cobbler and Crushed Curry watercolor pencils from the new Watercolor Pencils Assortment #2 Set to color the leaves. I used my Aqua Painter to blend the colors and then cut them out and arranged them on my box.To finish it off, I added a few gold pearls from the Metallic Pearls.

For the first card to go in my box, I took another piece of Watercolor paper cut at 4' x 5 1/4" ad stamped the leaf image twice in Versamark Ink. Then I heat embossed it in Gold Embossing Powder and heat set it. I colored the leaves just as I had for my box.

The next card below is created by layering more of the same type of elements as the previous projects, except that I used a stitched circle cut from Vellum and the medium sized stitched label die for my background for added texture. I used my Wink of Stella Pen to flick on splatters of glitter onto the background for added sparkle.

The final card involves a fun technique that I haven't done in quite some time and I thought I'd try it out again for this card.

I began by taking my Wink of Stella Pen and coloring generously over my leaf stamp. Once the entire raised surface is covered in glitter pen, I stamped it onto my background. I repeated this to stamp it in the opposite diagonal corner of my panel and allowed it to dry.

The results are really quite sunning in person and I'm afraid the the camera could't capture all of the beauty of the effect of this technique, but I have inserted a picture below. I think it adds the perfect subtle look of the sparkle in the background.

This gift box is the perfect gift for fall. I plan to give it as a gift to my daughter's teacher, but with so many gorgeous images in this set, there are endless possibilities for every type of crafter. I just know you will fall in love with this bundle and it will become a quick favorite, just as it has for me. Supplies are limited, so make sure you grab this bundle while you can so that you can begin creating your own gorgeous designs to share with your customers. I hope you have enjoyed today's card. Keep hopping along and check out my other fellow teammates’ pages.
