For my design, I actually feel like I kept it quite simple. I only stamped the first "penned" layer in versamark ink and heat embossed, using white embossing powder. Next, I began watercoloring the flowers with Peekaboo Peach and added some Watermelon Wonder to the centers. It's so simple to watercolor, using the Stampin' Up inks. I just squeeze gently, (while the ink pad is in a "closed" position) the top and bottom of the pad together, which puts some ink into the well of the lid. Then I take my aqua painter and mix the water with my inks and add it to my project. It's so simple, the colors match perfectly with my cardstock and embellishments, and the process is so satisfying and enjoyable. I definitely recommended trying this technique. I really love the results. One thing to keep in mind when watercoloring is that you dry your project in between changing colors if you don't want them to blend or bleed into each other.
