the stamp review crew

Hello Peaches! I'm here to participate in another fun blog hop with The Stamp Review Crew! If you're not familiar with The Stamp Review Crew , they are a group of very talented international Stampin' Up! demonstrators who get together on the first and third Monday of each month to bring you all kinds of delicious inspiration that features a different stamp set each new Monday.

The blog hops are archived at The Stamp Review Crew blog and you'll be able to click through the hops at any time, going directly to the posts as you wish for any of the hops. Just click on the banner of this post to go to the master blog roll for this hop also. If you have already started the hop, you will have come from the lovely and creative Mary Haugen.

Country Home Photopolymer Stamp Set

For this hop, we are featuring the Country Home which is a part of the Country Lane Suite of products. At first  wasn't in love with this set, but as soon as I started stamping with it, it totally changed my mind. I love the sweet rustic jugs and gorgeous floral arrangements that fit so perfectly together. Here's a close-up of my card for today's hop:

I began with a panel of Watercolor Paper and my Aqua Painter. I created a watercolor wash background using Blueberry Bushel, Balmy Blue Ink, and Soft Sea Foam Ink. While that dried, I stamped my jug onto a piece of Wood Textures Designer Series Paper (DSP) and cut it out. I used the same colors of ink to color my floral arrangement and cut it out to be adhered to my jug. I added a few cut pieces from the Delightfully Detailed DSP and layered it onto my watercolor background. I wanted to add some texture to my jug so I used some of the Braided Linen Trim to wrap around it. To finish
off my card, I added a few sequins from the Iridescent Sequin Assortment

Well, that's my card for today's hop! Thanks so much for hopping along! Your next stop is the lovely and talented Tanya Boser! Check out her gorgeous blog and projects!

Don't forget! You can find me on Instagram and Facebook! Happy stamping!
