Stitched All Around - The Crafty Carrot Co

Hey Peaches, I'm thrilled to be sharing with you today as part of the July Crafty Carrot Collective blog hop, featuring the Stitched All Around Stamp Set. If you are unfamiliar with the CCC, well, they are a team of past and present Stampin' Up! Artisans who design online programs each month centered around a stamp set or a few focus products. For more info and a link to their page, click here. Here are the ladies that represent the Crafty Carrot Collective:

Today, these talented designers are sharing projects with this stamp set, and guess what?!?! I have the honor of being this month's guest designer! Yippee!!!

As mentioned earlier, this month we are featuring the Stitched All Around Bundle. This is a fantastic bundle. The gorgeous stitching and sweet sentiments, with elegant fonts make this bundle a "must have".

My card today combines the stamps and dies and shows you how diverse the options are with this set.

I began with the large stitched background die to create a textured, stitched effect on my main panel. Then, I used the largest stitched label die and cut it from some Coastal Cabana Cardstock. You'll notice that I took my color inspiration from the Twinkle Twinkle Designer Series Paper (DSP). If you love this DSP, you'll definitely want to take advantage of Stampin' Up!'s incredible offer happening right now! For every 3 packages of DSP you buy, you get 1 package FREE!

After the Coastal Cabana label was cut I used the same die to cut out some Twinkle Twinkle DSP to layer underneath the Coastal Cabana label. In order to make the DSP visible underneath the top layer, I used my Paper Snips to cut out the center of the top, Coastal Cabana label and then roughed up the edges so that the DSP could peek through the center.

Next, I stamped the "Thank you" image onto some Soft Sea Foam Cardstock in Versamark Ink and heat embossed it in White Embossing Powder. I used the largest circular die from the set to cut the embossed image out. Then I stamped the same image in Night of Navy ink onto Soft Sea Foam and just cut the "Thank you" portion from it to layer on top of my heat embossed image. After that, I took some Silver & Petal Pink Baker's Twine and separated the silver threading from the Petal Pink twine, bunched it up and placed it behind my stitched layers. Finally, to finish off my card, I added all of my elements onto my stitched background.

I hope that you have enjoyed my card today. Make sure to hop over to see what the amazingly talented Cindy has to share. She always makes the most beautiful things. I know you’ll just love it!
