My card today is packed with all kinds of tropical goodness. I started by using one of the leaf dies and the Embossing Mats on Whisper White Cardstock to create a leaf embossed background. I love the subtle look of the embossing and I think it adds so much texture and interest.
Next, I stamped a few leaves and flowers using the stamp set. I first stamped the leaves in Lemon Lime Twist Ink and then used my Sponge Dauber to ink on some Shaded Spruce Ink in the center for a little variation in color. I applied the same technique when inking the flower as well, except I used Mango Melody Ink and Flirty Flamingo Ink for the center. I love the effect of this technique.
I layered the stamped leaves under my sentiment (from Picture Perfect Birthday Stamp Set), along with some of the new Leaf Ribbon. To finish my card off, I added a few (you guessed it) sequins from the Iridescent Sequin Assortment. Well, that's my card for today! I hope you have enjoyed it. I'll see you all next post!
