Stampin' Up Artisan Blog Hop - From My Heart

Well, hello peaches! Welcome to the From My Heart Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team Blog Hop! Each month our very talented and creative team of designers will be bringing you inspiration, so get comfortable and have a ton of fun hopping along with us. You may have just arrived from the wonderfully talented Jan Clothier's Blog. She has made some incredible projects!
From My Heart
Today, we will be showcasing products the From My Heart Suite. Even though this suite seems very "Valentine" oriented, they could easily be used for other occasions as well. The sweet little Heart-shaped Foil Treat Tins are perfect for sharing handmade treats, and I am absolutely in LOVE with those gorgeous Faceted Gems! The Heartfelt Bundle is a beautiful pairing of stamps and coordinating punches. I love how beautifully all of these products coordinate together as well as work gorgeously individually.
FROM MY HEART SUITE BUNDLE (ENGLISH)
For my projects today, I was really feeling the Valentine's Day vibes, so I made a few different designs with this theme. My first design is a Valentine's Day card. I have actually paired the Lovely Flowers Dies with the heart bundle and created a textured frame around my main sentiment and focal point. I used one of the Heart Doilies behind my embossed heart sentiment, and then, of course, I had to add some of those stunning gems.
I also wanted to make a few heart shaped valentines for my daughter to give out in class. I used the Stitched Be Mine Dies for the heart shape of the card.
To make the card so that it's a heart-shaped folded card, it's very simple.
  1. First, take a piece of Real Red Cardstock and fold it in half.
  2. Next, take the largest heart die from the Stitched Be Mine Dies set and place it on top of the folded cardstock so that the top of the heart die touches the edge of the cardstock where the fold is.
  3. Lastly, place your cutting plates so that they cover all but the top portion of the heart die (about 1/4" from the folded edge). You should see just the top 1/4" portion of the heart die sticking out from the cutting plates as you run it through your die cutting machine, and then you're done!
My next card is a fun little shaker card. I used the heart punch to punch out the center of one of the heart doilies as well as a layer of cardstock popped up so that you could peek through and see the Flirty Flamingo stamped heart. Here's a close-up of the end result:
Finally, I HAD to use those sweet little tins, especially since I was craving chocolate, LOL. I mean, it was necessary for the purposes of creativity, right?! So, I "guess" I could take one for the sake of creativity and make some triple chocolate-y brownies, ha! These tins are oven safe so they can be used to bake in (not the lids). I made a shaker out of the lid which was accomplished similarly to my card.
Here's a look at that how cute the brownies look in those adorable heart tins (below):
I absolutely loved these products and had so much fun creating these projects with them. I hope you have enjoyed all of today's cards and designs. Keep hopping along and check out my other fellow teammates’ pages. They have some pretty amazing projects to share. 3. Lovely! I like the way you've thought to punch out the centres of the doily to create a lacy frame for both the shaker box top and the card.
