I was lucky enough to get to work with the STUNNING Nature's Thoughts Dies. One of the great things about all of these coordinating products is that the dies eliminate the need for fussy cutting, and therefore, freeing up more time to create projects. Here are my projects using the Nature's Thoughts Dies:
For my projects today, I have made a set of cards. I have been wanting to create something with a very whimsical color scheme and the moment I saw this set, I knew it would pair perfectly! I used Melon Mambo Ink, Pacific Point Ink, Highland Heather Ink, and my Aqua Painter to create a few watercolor backgrounds. I then used the Nature's Thoughts Dies to die cut some feathers and floral imagery. For my first card, I used the feathers and a few of the floral die cuts to cluster into the corner as my main focal point. I also use the longest die in the set to add a little interest and texture coming out from behind my cluster.
The first white layer that seems to have a pattern of stitch marks/holes around the border is actually one of the dies in the set and LOVE the versatility of it!
I used one of my watercolored backgrounds as one of my panel layers to tie in with the elements on my card and add more splashes of color. I wanted to add a touch of silver too, so I embossed one of the floral images from the set in silver. With the magic of these dies, I was able to stamp my butterfly image and easily die cut it out and add it to my project-so simple! Here's a close up of this card:
My final card was fairly simple to create. I wanted to create a watercolor wreath with one of the floral-y dies, so I die cut from more of my pre-watercolored paper. Then I assembled them in a circle (HINT: if you struggle with arranging your pieces in a circle, try tracing a circle  with pencil, arrange the pieces around it and adhere them in place).
I was really digging the look of the bold black sentiments in my previous samples and wanted to incorporate that into this one as well. I heat embossed my sentiment already, but I wanted a touch more of black to adorn my wreath. I really love those Frosted Flower Elements, but they were not black, so I improvised, LOL.
I took the flowers, pressed them into my Versamark Pad, added Black Embossing Powder, and heat set it. You can see the beautiful, shine they have:
