Hey peaches! I have a simple card featuring products from the Classic Garage Suite. It's funny to be working on Father's Day cards so early, but I figured that this could work well for a birthday card as well. My card today features the Geared Up Garage Bundle. This set is so fun and masculine. However, I could definitely see a girl's sweet sixteen card done in a feminine style as well. Plus, the gears in this set really look like they'd make a fun steampunk style card too! It's a really great set.
To give this card a more masculine feel, I took my first panel and roughed up the edges. I use my scissors and just scrape it across the edges for a fun tattered look. To add some additional subtle texture, I die cut some gears and placed them on my panel. I also used the new Stitched Rectangles Dies to ground my main sentiment and car. I cut them from Tranquil Tide Cardstock and a piece of the Classic Garage Designer Series Paper.
The whole card is very subtle but Ii like the minimalistic effect it has.
