I wanted a subtle background with repeated sentiments so that the person who receives this card will know just how special they are. I used one of the stamps from the Well Said Set and stamped it in Smokey Slate Ink. I used second generation and third generation stamping which just means that I stamped off first and then onto my background repeatedly. You can see the soft effect in the photo below.
I used Pacific Point In and, Bermuda Bay Ink to add some soft color to my floral element. It's supper easy to do and creates a lovely soft ombre look.
Here's how you do it:
- Die cut your floral image from Whisper White Cardstock.
- Use your Sponge Dauber in Pacific Point Ink and first dab a scratch paper to prevent harsh lines/tones.
- Then just daub the color softly on about a third of the way up the floral image.
- Continue with Bermuda Bay in the middle section, daubing the color lighter and lighter as you reach the top of the image until the color looks as if it disappears.
