Stampin’ Up! Forever Lovely - Valentine’s Day Cards

Hey peaches! It’s already January which means it’s time to start creating Valentine’s Day cards. Luckily, Stampin’ Up! Has me covered. There are two new sets in the Occasions Catalog (live today January 3rd) that are perfect for Valentine’s Day. Today I have used the Forever Lovely Stamp Set and Lovely Flowers Edgelits Dies to create my card.

My card was actually inspired by the Occasions Catalog. I just changed the color scheme and  added a few of my own details. I used Bermuda Bay Ink and Flirty Flamingo Ink. I also used some Powder Pink Cardstock. You’ll notice that the stamped image lines up perfectly with the floral edged die. If you want to achieve this look you will first need to cut a layer of Whisper White Cardstock at 4” x 4 1/4”. You will use the floral die on this piece to create your floral edge. After cutting your edge, line the bottom up with your base layer and use a pencil to trace the floral images lightly (this will easily erase later). Remove the floral die cut layer and you will have traced flowers that you can line up your stamps with. Stamp your floral images and then layer the floral die cut layer on top with Dimensionals to make it really pop and that’s it!

Here are a few bonus cards I made for my daughter’s lunchbox:
