Stampin’ Up! Butterfly Beauty - Rainbow Butterfly Congrats Cards (And Sneak Peek)

Happy New Year peaches! Here’s my first official post of 2019 and I’m excited because I get to use my brand new Artisan watermark. I wanted to share a few cards that I made to send to the rest of the girls on the Stampin’ Up! Artisan Design Team to congratulate them. They’re super bright and happy and I figured they’d be perfect for this occasion.

I created 4 different cards that are based off the same design. I was die cutting butterflies using the Butterfly Beauty Thinlits and wanted to use every butterfly so I created a card for each one. This way there was little waste of supplies and time spent die cutting.

To create the background, I used the Butterfly Gala Stamp Set (this along with the butterfly thinlits will be available to customers to purchase January 3rd) and Smokey Slate Ink to Stamp some butterflies.

To get the rainbow butterflies, I used my Ink Daubers and the following ink pads: Flirty Flamingo, Pineapple Punch, and Bermuda Bay. Where each color met and blended created the other colors. I used the Itty Bitty Birthdays Stamp Set (also available in the new 2019 Occasions Catty on January 3rd) for the sentiment and added a few Sequins to finish them
off.
