Stampin' Up! Beautiful Promenade - Shimmer Paint Stamped Background

Hey peaches! I have a great creative tip to share with you today! Have you tried stamping with the Shimmer Paints yet!? You can create a stunning stamped background in no time at all! It’s a really fun and super easy technique.

For my technique today, I'm using the Beautiful Promenade Bundle. To start, just take your Frost White Shimmer Paint (or any shimmer paint color of your choice) and pour a little onto your Silicone Mat. You can even add a little ink refill to add color like I have today.

There are a few ways to add your paint to your stamp. You can stamp directly into your shimmer paint with your stamp and then stamp onto your paper, you could use a Stamping Sponge to add the paint onto your stamp, or even use your Aqua Painter to dip into the bottle and add the shimmer paint onto your stamp. I have also painted with the shimmer paint and my Aqua Painter. It's such a gorgeous look!

Stamp with the shimmer paint repeatedly to add more shimmer and to create a beautiful and eye-catching background effect. Here's a close-up of how the background turned out:

Here's another one (pictured below) I made using this technique. I just love the effect if creates!

There are so many combinations and colors you could play with. You must give this technique a try!

I'm so happy you stopped by and look forward to seeing you next post!
