Well, hello peaches! Welcome to the Dashing Along Host Promotion Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team Blog Hop! This is a very special hop because we are featuring some gorgeous exclusive Dashing Along Designer Series Paper (DSP). This paper will only be available for a limited time, so if you fall head over heels for this paper as I have, be sure to add it to your order!

Now, how do you get your hands on this gorgeous paper?! Well, if you place a qualifying order from September 1–30, you’ll earn it for FREE! Here's a closer look at it:

Dashing Along Designer Series Paper

I love that this stunning DSP has a perfect blend of old favorites and new patterns to bring you the most beautiful, traditional Christmas paper. With that said, this collection of patterns also includes a newsprint design, making it versatile and perfect for use beyond the holidays. This assortment also has an eclectic feel and is perfect for layering (as you'll see in my samples below), which, you know is SO me! I just know you’ll love this Designer Series Paper as much as I do! Now on to my project samples. For all of my cards today, I am using the Dashing Deer Stamp Bundle. I think this set was MADE to go with this paper! I just adds to the beautifully eclectic look of the DSP.

For my first card, I began with a base layer of Shaded Spruce Cardstock and added layers of the Dashing Deer DSP. I added a few layers of circle dies suing the Layering Circle Dies. I also added one of the deer die cuts from the coordinating die set. I embossed the sentiment in Gold Embossing Powder onto Vellum and added a few Sequins from the Metallic Sequin Assortment. To finish it off, I used my bone folder to curl the edges of two corners of the DSP. In hind sight I would have done this step before adhering to my panel, but I was able to curl them successfully at the end.
·

For the second sample, I began with a Cherry Cobbler Cardstock Base. I just love how this rich color looks with that elegant DSP.I used the Foliage Framelits Dies and the Big Shot Embossing mats to embossed the wreath shape on my base layer. I love the added texture this creates. I used a few pine stamps from the Rooted In Nature Set to stamp a few trees in Granny Apple Ink onto a square of Granny Apple Green Cardstock. For a little extra texture, I embossed a label from the Foliage Dies with the Subtle Embossing Folder, and that finished off my second card.

For my final project, I went with a clean Thick Whisper White Cardstock for my base. I used the Christmas Pines Stamp Set to stamp pine sprigs in Granny Apple Green in my background and used Shaded Spruce Stampin' Write Marker to spritz on some ink splatters. The deer that is one of my main focal points is pretty unique in that I used the largest deer stamp (which has this beautiful flourish-y texture) and embossed it in Gold Embossing Powder onto Vellum. I just love the look of gold embossing on vellum and it's such an easy technique for any level of crafter! To finish off my card, I added one of the flower die cuts from the Dashing Deer dies. I love that there are multiples of this same die in the set so that you can cut out more than one at a time!

Here are a few close-ups of the cards I have made today.

I had so much fun with this DSP and even after making tons of cards, I felt like I had only tapped the surface of all of the possibilities with this paper, not to mention how far the paper seems to go! I still have more than 3/4 of the pack left! I just know this will be my go-to for my Christmas cards this year with its traditional and eclectic beauty. Remember, this selection of paper will only be available through September 30th, so make sure you grab it while you can so that you can begin creating your own gorgeous designs to share. I hope you have enjoyed today's card. Keep hopping along and check out my other fellow teammates’ pages.
