Magical Day Stamp Review Crew Blog Hop

Hello Peaches! I'm here to participate in another fun blog hop with The Stamp Review Crew! If you're not familiar with The Stamp Review Crew , they are a group of very talented international Stampin' Up! demonstrators who get together on the first and third Monday of each month to bring you all kinds of delicious inspiration that features a different stamp set each new Monday.

The blog hops are archived at The Stamp Review Crew blog and you'll be able to click through the hops at any time, going directly to the posts as you wish for any of the hops. Just click on the banner of this post to go to the master blog roll for this hop also. If you have already started the hop, you will have come from the lovely and creative Kelley Kent.

For this hop, we are featuring the Magical Day Stamp Set. I just adore this set! It's actually one of my favorites from the new Occasions Catalog. I just love the stamps in this set that create magical mermaids, chivalrous knights, sparkling unicorns, and even fiery dragons! This set comes from a suite of products called Myths & Magic Suite. You will fall head over heels for these adorable products.

I actually made quite a few cards with this set. I started with a few regular (5 1/2" x 4 1/4") cards and ended up making some lunchbox notes to match as well. The dragon and knight cards use some of the gorgeous Myths & Magic Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP). For the bases of those cards, I used Island Indigo Cardstock. For both the unicorn cards and the dragon cards, I created a panel with clouds on Soft Sky Cardstock. Then I used my Embossing Paste and Cloud Stencil to create a sky background. To finish off my cards, I added a few embellishments like Silver Metallic ThreadSilver Mini Sequin Trim, and a scattering of sequins from the Metallics Sequin Assortment.

Well, those are my projects for today's hop! Thanks so much for hopping along! I just wanted to mention to my regular followers that these coming weekly posts will be a little different. I am participating in multiple blog hops this month so that means extra inspiration for you! Next stop is the very talented Lou Kitzelman! Check out her lovely blog and projects!
