Autism Awareness Blog Hop

Hello Peaches! April is National Autism Awareness Month. I'm sure many of you may either know of someone who has autism, whether it be a relative or a friend's child, or you may even have a child of your own that has it. If you do, you know that it can be very overwhelming. Did you know?:
  • Autism is the fastest growing disability among children in the U.S.
  • Currently there is no blood test, no scan, and no image that can detect autism. These diagnosis rely on behavioral observation and screening.
  • Approximately 67 million people worldwide are affected by autism
Each child, man and women with autism is presented with challenges that are part of their everyday lives, including family and loved ones. As a teacher, I have known quite a few children with Autism. Each child exhibited it in different ways. I have loved how amazing it was to watch them learn and grow in their own beautiful way. It is a treasure to know these amazing individuals. So myself, along with a few of my crafty stamping friends, are teaming up for an encouraging blog hop to bring awareness about Autism through stamping! Many amazing people in our crafty community have come together today to make a card or project(s) to support those affected by autism. Let's show our support and love for those living with Autism including their families!

How can we help?! Our donations to the Organization for Autism Research can help fund programs and support families with Autism.  It really makes a huge difference. If you need more information on this organization? Click HERE to read. I’ve set up a donation link below for the Organization for Autism Research.  Just click the button to donate. Every little bit helps and we all are greatly appreciative!

Learn more about Autism from the rest of the my crafty friends on this blog hop, with the added bonus of enjoying beautifully hand stamped and creative projects. I have included a list below. Now on to the talented and lovely Tanya Boser's post! I'm sure she has a gorgeous project to share. Enjoy and be inspired!
