Today I have a bit of a sneak peek of new products to come in January. Today I’m sharing the Party Pandas Dtamp Set. This set is so darn adorable!!!! It has these cute little pandas ready to party and play. I love the sweet sentiments too! They are designed to fit inside the balloons or the sweet little note that one of the pandas is holding. They are just too stinking cute!
As soon as I saw this set, I was immediately drawn to the panda with the balloon. Instantly I imagined him being carried away by a bunch of balloons into the clouds, so that’s exactly what I decided to create. You’ll notice that the little panda with the balloon is holding a single balloon and I wanted him to be holding onto three, so after I stamped him, I cut him out, making sure that I just cut the strings and balloon off. Don’t worry! I had a plan! I took the same panda stamp and stamped just the balloon portion onto three different colored cardstocks and cut them out. Then I took some Whisper White Baker’s Twine and used them as strings for the balloons. I adhered the string to the panda’s hand and then to each balloon and set them aside.
Next I needed to make my background. I wanted a puffy cloud background so I took my cloud stencil from the Pattern Party Decorative Masks and the brand new Shimmery White Embossing Paste and added my clouds onto some Pool Party Cardstock. I let it dry and then I was ready to assemble my card.
I layered my Bermuda Bay Cardstock under the Pool Party Cardstock with the shimmery clouds. Then I took my panda with balloons and adhered them in place on my cloud panel. I added my sentiment and finished it off with a few sequins, and that finished off my card. Thanks so much for stopping by and I’ll see you next post!
