Designer Series Paper Promotion - Stampin' Up Artisan Blog Hop

Well, hello peaches! Welcome to the Designer Series Paper Promotion Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team Blog Hop! Each month our very talented and creative team of designers will be bringing you inspiration, so get comfortable and have a ton of fun hopping along with us. You may have just arrived from the wonderfully talented Kaylee Van Es' Blog. Just over the moon about what she has created!

Today, we will be sharing some projects that showcase some of the lovely Designer Series Paper in the Annual Catalog because there is an amazing sale happening now through September 30th. During the Designer Series Paper (DSP) Sale, you can buy 3 packages of select DSP and get 1 free! This sale has been very popular in the past and has returned again! Be sure to grab yours and take advantage of this amazing offer!

My projects feature the Follow Your Art DSP and the It Starts With Art Bundle. For my first card, I wanted to show how beautilfully this DSP looks when you layer it. The beautiful artsy patterns and soft tones make for lovely layering.

Here's a close-up of the layers:

For my next design, I wanted to use some of the elements and images from the DSP as a backdrop for my main focal point and sentiment. I fussy cut a few of the art/crafting utensils from the paper. This is one of my favorite things to do with my patterned paper. Stampin' Up's beautifully color coordinated designs make it so fun to pair the paper with the matching stamp sets.

Here's a closeup of the effect:

My final project uses the Follow Your Art Embellishment Kit. I think this kit makes a perfect gift for any paper crafter and I wanted to design a tag to go with it. To get the coordinating colored ribbon, I just took some Silver Metallic-Edge Ribbon and used my Light Flirty Flaming Blends to color it a soft pink.I love being able to customize my embellishments!

Here's a detailed photo of the tag:

These papers were so inspiring and I loved coming up with unique ways to use them on my projects. I hope you have enjoyed all of today's cards and designs (full list of supplies below). Keep hopping along and check out my other fellow teammates’ pages. They have some pretty amazing projects to share, using some of the other patterned paper featured in this promotion. I’ve listed them, along with all products used below or you can just click the link below to hop to the fabulously creative Maike Beimler
