#TGIFc224 - Sketch Challenge


Hey peaches and thanks for joining me for my debut as the newest creative member of the TGIF design team! If you're new to the TGIF Challenges, each Friday, we offer a new themed challenge for you to play along with. Be sure to check out the main blog for more details, inspiration, and the guidelines. This week's challenge is a sketch challenge and I absolutely love it!


Here are my submissions for this week's challenge:


I CASEd my design from a few details from a card in the Annual Catalog and put my own twist on it. These two cards were made using the Above The Clouds Bundle. I watercolored my main panel in an ombre effect and stamped a few of the smaller balloon images from the set. 


I embossed the flag banner in gold and stamped it in Coastal Cabana Ink.


I even made a matching mini 3x3 note card, only this one was done in Flirty Flamingo and Petal Pink tones.


I wanted some scalloped ribbon to match my cards so I used some Purple Posy Scalloped Ribbon and used my Flirty Flamingo Blends to color it pink. I did the same thing for the Bermuda colored ribbon. I used the Seaside Spray ribbon and Bermuda Blends.

This angle (below) shows the gold embossing on the flag banner.

Stamp Review Crew - Above The Clouds

Hello Peaches! ABOVE THE CLOUDS BUNDLE

For this hop, we are featuring the Above The Clouds Bundle.
I did a lot of embossing in gold for this card because I think it compliments the cooler colors well. I used Pacific Point Ink and Highland Heather Ink to watercolor my balloons. 

I added a bit of bling to finish it off.

Stampin’ Up! Sailing Home - Thank You Card


Hello Peaches! I'm here to share a brand new card featuring the Sailing Home Bundle. I really love this set. Anything ocean or nautical themed is always right up my ally. It's great for both feminine and masculine cards and projects, and I just knew I would really enjoy creating with it!

I loved mixing soft and deep, bold blues together for this card. I think they compliment each other so well, along with the beautiful Come Sail Away Designer Series Paper (DSP).
