#TGIFc240 - Autumn Leaves


Hey peaches and thanks for joining me for my debut as the newest creative member of the TGIF design team! This week's challenge is a fall themed inspiration challenge and I absolutely love it!
My card for this week's challenge was made using the Colorful Seasons Stamp Set and the coordinating Seasonal Layers Dies. Here's my submission:
 To get those lovely fall colors, I simply used my Aqua Painter and created a multi-colored watercolor wash onto Watercolor Paper. I used a combination of Real Red, Grapefruit Grove, and Pineapple Punch Inks. 
To get that soft realistic wood panel texture in the background, I used the Pinewood Planks 3D Embossing Folder and then used a Sponge to add more color and depth with some Smokey Slate Ink.

Fancy Friday - Blue Christmas

Hey everyone and welcome to the Fancy Friday Blog Hop! If you’re new the the Fancy Friday Blog Hops, we are a group of past and current Artisans that get together each month on the last Friday of each month to bring you crafty inspiration with monthly themes and challenges. Now onto this month’s focus!
This month the challenge was a "blue Christmas" theme, so we could incorporate all of those gorgeous blues that I love so much into a festive Christmas project. Well, I thought that combing those sweet little deer from The Most Wonderful Time Medley and the Itty Bitty Christmas Bundle would be so perfect for a soft blue Christmas.
ITTY BITTY CHRISTMAS BUNDLE (EN)
I created a soft blue background using Balmy Blue Cardstock and layered on some snowflakes from the bundle cut from Sparkle Glimmer Paper. Those elegant deer are from a sticker sheet  from the medley and I wanted my deer to be dimensional, so I popped it up by adding some Mini Stampin' Dimensionals. Some thread and blue sequins helped to finish off my blue card.

#TGIFc238 - So Grateful

This week's challenge is all about being thankful and I absolutely love it!


My card for this week's challenge was made using the Tidings All Around Bundle. Here's my submission:


 For this card, I wanted a very "harvest-y" look, so I made the wreath look like golden wheat. I love how this set can transform and become so many types of wreaths for any season. It's a gorgeous set. I created an ombre looking wheat bundle by using one of the wheat stamps in the set and sponging on three different hues of ink: Grapefruit Grove, Calypso Coral, and Terracotta Tile.

Toile Tidings - Stampin' Up Artisan Blog Hop


Well, hello peaches! Welcome to the Floral Essence Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team Blog Hop! Each month our very talented and creative team of designers will be bringing you inspiration, so get comfortable and have a ton of fun hopping along with us. You may have just arrived from the wonderfully talented Kaylee Van Es' Blog. Just over the moon about what she has created!
Today, we will be showcasing products from the Toile Tidings Suite. This suite has some really gorgeous coordinating products and I have included a moajority of them in my projects for today. This mega suite includes two bundles: Tidings All Around Bundle and Toile Christmas Bundle. I love how beautifully they coordinate together as well as individually. This year there is even matching wrapping paper (Toile Tidings Gift Wrap) that is so easy to use and even works great for card fronts. This really is a stunning suite!

 For my projects today, I wanted to make a gift with matching card and gift tag. This suite makes the pairing of my projects effortless. I made a layered wreath using Garden Green Cardstock and the Noble Peacock DSP. I also used a few swirls in Gold Glimmer Paper to layer behind my wreath. To finish it off, I added a few Real Red Rhinestones all around my wreath as berries.

I made my tag as a coordinating rosette using the Toile Tidings DSP. Making rosettes are fairly simple. Here's how you do it: 

  1. First, cut a piece of 12x12 DSP into a 1/2" strip.
  2. Next, score that strip of paper at every 1/4" mark to the end.
  3. Then you just fold, accordion style, on all of the score lines.
  4. Lastly, make both ends of your scored strip of paper meet and adhere them, making a circle.

I like to add a punched/die cut circle to the center of both sides to hold the rosette center from flipping or bending outward. Here's a closeup of the effect:

After both my card and my tag were done, I wrapped a small gift box with the Toile Gift Wrap and finished it off by wrapping it in some of that delicious Real Red Ruched Ribbon.
I absolutely loved these products and had so much fun Creating these festive projects with them.
