Cake Soirée Birthday Card Set

Hey peaches and welcome to today’s blog post. Today I’m sharing a card set that features products from the Sweet Soirée Suite of products. This suite is perfectly suited for celebrating just about any occasion. There is gorgeous coordinating Designer Series Paper (DSP), decorative masks designed to help you create and decorate your cakes with Shimmery White Embossing Paste that looks like frosting. There is a festive Scattered Sequins Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder that creates perfectly detailed sequins for your project. There’s even Sweet Soirée Ready Shreddie that adds just the right touch to your gift packaging. Everything about this suite screams “party” and it was perfect for my set of cards today.

In the Cake Soirée Bundle (which I am using in today’s card set), there are sentiments for birthdays, weddings, and anniversaries. I love the “celebrate” sentiment in this set because you can use it for a number of celebrations as well and the font is so beautiful. I have used it to stamp my beautiful cake in Berry Burst Ink as well as the sentiment on my white card. To color the detail on my cake, I  used my Watercolor Pencils and Wink of Stella Pen for a little glimmer. You’ll notice that I used the sequin embossing folder to create backgrounds for two of my cards. I have also used a few pieces of the Sweet Soirée Specialty DSP. This paper has some really stunning designs filled with fabulous florals and silver embossed details.

In two of the cards, I have used some of the dies from the bundle to add a few flourishes and to cut out some of the flowers that I stamped. I stamped and heat embossed a few flowers in Silver Embossing Powder and added them to my Soft Sky card.

You may have noticed the lovely die cut sentiment “celebrate” on two of my cards. This was created using the Celebrate You Thinlit Dies that are part of the free items from Sale-a-Bration that you can get with a qualifying order (more details below). To finish of my trip of cards, I added a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels, Silver Metallic Thread, Metallic Sequin Assortment, Silver Mini Sequin Trim. I hope you like my card set today. Thanks so much for stopping by and I’ll see you next post!
