Weather Together July Color Challenge 6 #MPSCC6

Happy Wednesday Little Peaches! I wanted to share with you my color challenge for the week. For this challenge, the instructions were to use Dapper Denim, Pool Party, Smokey Slate, and Whisper White. I think these colors are really beautiful together and maybe not ones you'd pair up right away. And that's what makes these challenges so fun! You get to try color combos you've never thought of trying before.

With my card, I was inspired to make a see through panel that would also be the shaker part of my shaker card. I thought it might be fun to use the thinlits from "Umbrella Weather" framelits dies to make the panel look like a rain shower was passing through it. To achieve this look, I ran the dies through the big shot, only placing them in the designated panel section of my card. I then adhered the window sheet on the back side of the panel, on the inside of the card. Next, I created a "well" for the sequins to shake in, by placing foam strips all around the outer edges of the panel and placed another piece of cardstock over that so that now you could shake the card and see the sequins through the other side. This was the final result:
